Behavioral sound field recordings
In late april 2006 Lorenzo Brusci and Giardino Sonoro asked sound researcher and composer Davide Tidoni to test a possible dynamic and behavioral soundscape recording at the Giardino Sonoro Lab. Davide, with his rigorous attitude, found a magnificent way to document and choreographically remix the environmental and multichanneling compositions Lorenzo Brusci conceived for the sonic garden lab on 2006 and 2007. Choreographically remixing and dynamically recording the acoustic environment through fluid, surprisingly various and accurate mixing postures, a dynamic, intense re-reading and discovering of the sonic environment.
Tidoni writes:
“In Soundwalkscape #1, the first studio which took place at the Giardino Sonoro in june 2006, I attempted to define and document certain physical/body expressions induced by the sonic garden sono-spatial forms during the listening and the walikng experience. Creating a relationship with the spatial element and the “rhythmicity” of the site, I interpreted and re-arranged the presence of the sonorous input exploiting virtuous techniques in stereophonic recording, acted and performed during the “sensitive body” movement.
