Symbolic spaces. How can you learn the grace of a gesture, of an object, of a function, of a relationship, of a physical state? Symbolic Arts (because of their public exposure of personal intensification) are the only training. The art of a presence, itself individual and public at once: a verbal metaphor is expressing why you feel/need emotional space around a common word/meaning; a choreography or a drama are then suspending its private symbolism into a public cognitive rite. Any construction is meaningful because of the emotional and linguistic research behind the choice of that individual though widely public expressive action.

These are some of the issues emerging from the research Philips - Goal Venture - are sharing with Lorenzo Brusci and his Architettura Sonora team. The making of an intelligent space. A dynamic learning center of a brand’s main properties. Selling goods is a way of sharing information and perspectives on society. But the space where a function happen cannot - NEVER - be reduced to it.

In 2 months a pilot multisensorial shop in Eindhoven will be allowing us to test the experiential implications of such a dynamic space.
